EUROICC participated in IoT meetup

On Wednesday 22.03.2017., EUROICC participated in Internet of Things (IoT) meetup organized by Informatics Association of Serbia (IAS) and Belgrade Youth Center. In crowded Belgrade Youth Center amphitheater, visitors had the opportunity to hear some valuable insights about IoT industry.

Some of the questions answered by presenters were from basic one, like what IoT term stands for, to complex questions about implementation of disruptive technologies in logistics, agriculture, retail and construction industry. The future of Smart City, Smart Home and Building Automation concepts were one of the most intriguing for the audience. They could also hear some expectations and projections about further Serbian ICT industry development.

Our CEO, Uros Tomanovic, presented EUROICC IoT experience and most recent projects. He was focused on our in-house development of electronic Smart Thermostat for electric water heaters. Smart Thermostat learns consumer behavior and prepares hot water by their needs, which maximizes safety, comfort and energy savings. With new EU regulations about energy efficient products, smart thermostats and proper insulation are the only ways for electric water heater to become ErP compliant. Smart Water Heater can be controlled digitally and even remotely via mobile phone. It can be connected to home access point (router) and easily integrated into Smart Home.

EUROICC as proud member of Open Connectivity Foundation, showed once again it ambitious plans for further development of IoT ready products and solutions to Belgrade audience.
